Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation's State Maintenance Operations Unit is soliciting an agency-specific term contract for annual and triennial petroleum underground storage tank inspection and testing services at designated fuel tank sites statewide. The scope includes periodic testing, equipment operability testing, leak detection and integrity testing, and related inspections. The contractor must ensure that technicians hold Veeder-Root ATG Technician Certification; an alternative Gilbarco Veeder-Root ATG Operability Certification is not accepted. If testing indicates a possible release, the contractor must initiate the regulatory reporting process, complete and submit applicable Suspected Release Forms, and perform the required initial site check or investigation under applicable North Carolina regulations and manufacturer guidelines. The solicitation also clarifies that unit price and extended price are the same value.
