Description
Kane County is soliciting a qualified professional or agency to provide comprehensive drug testing and urinalysis services for the Kane County Court Services Department. County staff will collect urine samples at four county locations, while the contractor will provide collection equipment, containers, prepaid postage or courier mailers, packaging, labels, related materials, shipping, laboratory testing, and results, reports, and records at no additional cost. The county processes approximately 16,000 specimens per contract year, averaging 1,300 specimens per month. The requested services include standard 13-panel and 8-panel testing, with pricing and information for customized panels, designer-drug testing, oral swabs, skin patches, and instant urine screening supplies. Results are generally required within 48 hours of sample receipt, with specialized testing turnaround times identified in the proposal. Proposals must address the service approach, qualifications and certifications, staffing, laboratory audits, reporting integrations, references, pricing, litigation disclosures, insurance, and other required forms and certifications. The contract is planned for two years with three optional one-year renewals, subject to mutual agreement and funding.
