Description
Forsyth County is establishing a pool of multiple qualified firms to provide geotechnical and related technical services on an as-needed basis for County projects during 2027, 2028, and 2029. Potential services include subsurface exploration, soil borings and drilling, rock coring, soil and construction-materials testing, environmental sampling and analysis, structural and nondestructive testing, building-enclosure and roofing investigations, facility-condition and forensic inspections, construction quality assurance, and preparation of reports and recommendations. Firms may propose for one or more service categories and may use qualified subcontractors or subconsultants. The County will issue project-specific scopes and may request project-specific proposals, schedules, approaches, and fees from awarded firms. There is no guaranteed minimum quantity, frequency, or dollar amount of work. The technical proposal is limited to 20 pages, excluding mandatory requirements, and must address the firm's qualifications, personnel, relevant experience, approach, capabilities, and quality-assurance procedures. A separate fee schedule must provide rates for applicable services, equipment, personnel, testing, drilling, and other charges. Required submission materials include the proposal, separate fee schedule, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Contractor Affidavit and Agreement, Subcontractor Affidavit if applicable, and Addendum Acknowledgement.
