Description
The City of Puyallup is requesting Statements of Qualifications from consultants to provide on-call materials testing and special inspections services for various city projects and tasks. The scope includes field testing and inspection, laboratory analysis of construction materials, special inspections, and planning and scoping of testing activities. Materials may include in-situ soils, engineered fill, asphalt, concrete, structural steel, rebar, water quality, and related construction materials. Selected consultants must demonstrate relevant municipal experience, knowledge of WSDOT standards, Local Agency Guidelines, International Building Code special-inspection requirements, testing methods, and public-agency contracting. The City may select up to two consultants for master contracts with as-needed task orders. Responses are limited to ten single-sided pages, including the cover letter and resumes, must include at least three relevant references with current contact information, and must include the completed in-house capabilities form. Annual on-call expenditures are capped at $50,000, with a total contract value not exceeding $100,000 over the contract term.
