Description
Yavapai County is soliciting a contractor to provide as-needed hauling and recycling of passenger, off-road, and semi-truck tires, including tires with or without rims. The contractor must furnish, operate, and maintain qualified personnel, trucks, backup trucks, and other equipment; remove all collected tires within 10 days after notification; provide advance pickup notice; and deliver the tires to a County-designated Arizona Department of Environmental Quality facility. The contractor is responsible for applicable permits, licenses, insurance, fees, manifests, and compliance with Arizona law. Work will primarily involve the Prescott Waste Tire Collection Site, estimated at 8,000 tires per month, and the Camp Verde Waste Tire Collection Site, estimated at 6,000 tires per month. The contract is effective November 1, 2026, for one year, with up to four additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement. A $1,000 statutory performance bond is required after award, and pricing is submitted per ton through the electronic procurement portal.
