Description
The City of Prescott is soliciting a contractor to mobilize, set up, operate, and demobilize crushing and screening equipment at its transfer station. The work covers approximately 19,250 tons of concrete-inert mix and 23,150 tons of asphalt millings and rubble, producing 1-1/4-inch-minus material that will be stockpiled on site and remain the City's property. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, transportation, utilities, and incidentals; reduce oversized material as needed; separate and retain or dispose of steel reinforcement and other embedded metal; document production using a belt scale; and maintain access for ongoing transfer-station operations. Bidders must provide per-ton pricing for each material type, mobilization/demobilization pricing, and a $50,000 contract allowance. The work must be completed within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, and the solicitation requires attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference.
