Description
Yavapai County is soliciting operated hauling equipment and operators on an as-needed, non-exclusive basis. Equipment categories include 10-wheel dump trucks with or without chip bars or rock liners, end dumps, belly dumps, 20-ton transfer units, dump trucks with minimum capacities of 18, 20, and 24 tons, and 20-ton side-dump units. Bidders may offer individual equipment categories rather than all categories, and equipment orders will generally be placed in multiples of two. Contractors must provide capable operators with licenses required by Arizona law and comply with Federal Highway Administration drug and alcohol testing requirements. Equipment must meet applicable federal, state, and local safety and roadworthiness standards. Pricing is requested by zone and by hourly or daily unit, with mobilization pricing for specified zones. The contract is non-exclusive, provides no guaranteed minimum or maximum purchases, and has a one-year initial term with up to four additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement.
