Description
The buyer is seeking a contractor to sort and recover mixed construction, renovation, and demolition debris received at the North and South ecocentres. Materials may include natural and treated wood, vinyl, gypsum, vapor barriers and other membranes, thermal and acoustic insulation, windows and doors, concrete, brick, asphalt, ceramic, and other construction-related materials. The anticipated service period is 36 months, from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2029. Forecast quantities are approximately 2,900 tonnes annually at the North Ecocentre and 950 tonnes annually at the South Ecocentre, subject to variation and without a guaranteed minimum proportion of recyclable or recoverable material. Tires, hazardous household waste, bulky waste, electronics, appliances, refrigerants, separately collected recyclables, and household waste are excluded.
