Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for scheduled and on-call trash collection, hauling, and disposal services at the Cerritos, Humphreys, and Bellflower Maintenance Stations. The contractor must provide labor, roll-off trash bins, equipment, travel, disposal fees, taxes, and all related incidentals. Services include weekday pickups, additional on-call pickups within 24 hours, lawful disposal, disposal receipts, covered containers, site cleanup, and compliance with applicable organic-waste recycling and transportation requirements. The estimated bid quantities include 40-cubic-yard and 10-cubic-yard bins across the three locations. Bidders must possess a current California Department of Motor Vehicles Motor Carrier Permit. Subcontracting is prohibited. The bid package must include the completed bid proposal, bidder certification, current Motor Carrier Permit, California Civil Rights Laws Certification, and Darfur Contracting Act Certification. A Certificate of Insurance is required only from the winning bidder after award.
