Description
The City of Prescott is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Sundog Trunk Main Sewer Phase C3 project. The work includes a new Downtown Regional Lift Station near the Granite Creek Park/6th Street area; approximately 25,000 linear feet of 26-inch HDPE sewer force main; approximately 2,500 linear feet of 24-inch gravity sewer trunk main and 8-inch branch mains; sewer manholes, valves, air-release assemblies, odor-control units, force-main drain manholes, and abandonment of existing sewer infrastructure. The project also includes water-main extensions and replacements, water-service work, excavation and trenching, dewatering and bypass pumping, traffic control, pavement removal and replacement, concrete curb and sidewalk restoration, environmental and stormwater controls, electrical and instrumentation systems, a standby generator, security systems, HVAC, fire protection, testing, commissioning, and closeout documentation. Bidders must hold the required Arizona A-General Engineering contractor license, submit specialized large-diameter CCFRPM and HDPE butt-fused-pipe qualifications, and perform more than 40 percent of the work with their own forces. The contract requires completion within 720 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
