Description
The Government of the Virgin Islands, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, is soliciting proposals for emergency debris removal services throughout the United States Virgin Islands following a state of emergency or disaster declaration. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, equipment, fuel, maintenance, repairs, traffic control, and other resources necessary to examine, separate, load, haul, and deliver eligible debris from territorial and federal roadway rights-of-way to government-designated debris management sites. Eligible materials include vegetative debris, construction and demolition debris, white goods, and metals. Hazardous or toxic waste is excluded. The scope includes monitored load-ticket procedures, truck certification, debris measurement, disposal-site coordination, safety compliance, and removal of white goods with and without refrigerant. Proposals must include organizational information, licenses and registrations, staffing and subcontractor information, project experience, past performance, an operational and safety plan, production commitments, references, proof of active SAM.gov registration, and a cost sheet.
