Description
Mobile County is soliciting bids for post-disaster debris removal, including furnishing all labor and materials and performing the work required under applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including FEMA Public Assistance requirements and federal grant rules. Bids must be submitted on forms provided in the full bid documents. Each bid must include either a $10,000 cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank or a $10,000 bidder's bond. Bidders must also provide proof of their ability to obtain required payment and performance bonds, including a $1,000,000 contractual payment and performance bond at contract execution and a payment and performance bond equal to 100% of the estimated contract cost before post-disaster activation. Bidders must hold the required Alabama general contractor license and provide other qualifications specified in the full bid documents. A certificate of insurance is required at contract execution.
