Description
The Town of Orange is soliciting bids for street sweeping services from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028. The contractor must furnish labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, incidentals, at least two operational four-wheel, four-cubic-yard high-dump sweepers, one operational backup sweeper, and qualified operators. The work generally covers 50 to 100 centerline miles of town roads annually, with both gutter lines swept and roadway materials—including residual stone from chip sealing—removed. The town will provide a dump truck and operator for each contractor sweeper and traffic control as necessary. Bidders must submit the provided Bid Form, project references, and a Non-Collusive Affidavit of Prime Bidder in a sealed envelope. The contractor must respond with operational equipment and operators within 48 hours after receiving the notice to proceed. Insurance coverage is required, including general liability, automobile liability, umbrella/excess liability, professional liability if applicable, and workers’ compensation/employers’ liability. Bid, performance, and payment bonds are not applicable.
