Description

The City of Prescott is soliciting bids for rehabilitation of four potable-water pipe segments associated with the South Water Storage Tank: two approximately 24-inch inlet and outlet pipes and two approximately 8-inch drain lines. The work includes valve-vault disassembly and reassembly, excavation and construction of a permanent vertical shaft, pipe cleaning, pre- and post-rehabilitation CCTV inspection, and installation of fully structural, NSF/ANSI 61-compliant cured-in-place pipe liners. The contractor must also perform hydrostatic testing, flushing, disinfection, end sealing, required ductile-iron pipe replacement within the shaft, traffic and site-access control, and restoration of disturbed areas. The contract duration is 120 calendar days beginning with the Notice to Proceed, and the reservoir must be returned to service no later than March 1, 2027. The solicitation requires an Arizona A-General Engineering contractor license, a 10 percent proposal guarantee, performance and payment bonds at contract execution, and specified commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and other applicable insurance coverage.
