Description
The City of West Sacramento is seeking an individual or professional firm authorized under California's Business and Professions Code to serve as City Surveyor and supplement the City's existing staff. The scope includes reviewing final and parcel maps before recordation; providing professional opinions on tentative maps and lot line adjustments; preparing boundary descriptions and plats; performing field surveys and GIS-related work; and meeting with City staff, consultants, and others involved in the mapping process. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of experience providing comparable services to public agencies in California, submit relevant public-sector project experience, personnel qualifications, references, a technical project approach, and a cost proposal. The initial contract term may be up to three years, with up to two additional one-year extensions. The selected contractor must meet the City's professional licensing and insurance requirements.
