Description
Harris County is seeking multiple qualified firms to provide professional land surveying services for projects administered by the Office of the County Engineer. The scope includes topographic and boundary surveys; deed and right-of-way research; right-of-way, topographic, and utility mapping; documentation of utilities, drainage structures, pavement, buildings, curbs, driveways, and trees; horizontal and vertical control; subsurface utility engineering at Levels C and D; and CAD, digital terrain model, contour, and signed and sealed right-of-way map deliverables. Services will support roads, bridges, sidewalks, mobility and drainage infrastructure, buildings and facilities, parks, and property or right-of-way acquisitions. Work must comply with applicable Texas professional standards, Harris County standards, and the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors Manual of Practice. This is a qualifications-based solicitation. Respondents must submit a Statement of Qualifications addressing team experience, organization, key personnel, resumes, SF-330 qualifications, three project briefs, project understanding and management approach, regional experience, and past performance. The hypothetical reference project is a four-lane boulevard and bridge improvement with an estimated overall project budget of $19,350,000; that amount is not stated as the surveying contract value. The solicitation provides for four one-year renewal options and prohibits including fees or prices in the initial qualifications submission.
