Description
St. Lucie County is soliciting proposals for sample collection and analytical laboratory services supporting compliance with Florida Department of Environmental Protection landfill permit specifications and other monitoring requirements. The primary site is the St. Lucie County Baling and Recycling Facility, which has 37 groundwater-monitoring wells, three extraction wells, one combined extraction well, two piezometers, and three surface-water sampling locations. The contractor will perform routine analyses identified in the facility's operating permit, as well as occasional additional analyses arising from facility operations and regulatory requirements. Other County agencies, including the Utilities Department, may also use the resulting contract for analytical services. The solicitation identifies no bid bond requirement and states that the pre-bid/proposal conference is non-mandatory and not applicable.
