Description
Dallas County is seeking qualifications from firms to provide professional geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, inspection, laboratory, sampling, reporting, and related engineering services under a five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract. Services may support roadway, bridge, building, pavement, structural steel, environmental, stormwater, and other County Public Works projects through individual work orders. The County intends to select up to eight firms and may assign projects on a rotational or qualifications basis. Respondents must demonstrate at least five years of relevant firm experience, qualified Texas-licensed professionals, accredited laboratory capabilities, certified technicians, appropriate equipment, similar project experience, key-personnel qualifications, proposed approach, response times, and capacity to perform the listed TxDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and related testing. The qualification package is limited to 100 pages and must include the specified proposal sections and SBE materials. An aspirational SBE participation goal of 40% applies, with additional points available for certified SBE participation.
