Description

Volusia County's Office of Recovery and Resiliency is soliciting construction services for the complete removal and replacement of the roof systems at Palmetto House, a building exceeding one story in Daytona Beach. The work covers approximately 6,629 square feet across top, middle, and bottom roof systems and includes tear-off to the structural deck, replacement of one-half-inch radiant-barrier OSB sheathing, enhanced deck fastening, hurricane ties, fully adhered secondary water barriers, new flashing and ventilation, and lawful debris disposal. The top and middle roofs require laminated architectural composition shingles, while the low-slope bottom roof requires a modified bitumen membrane with four-inch seam tape. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, staging, fall protection, site protection, cleanup, product and workmanship warranties, and wind-mitigation documentation.
