Description
Franklin County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids from Florida-licensed general or building contractors for renovations and repairs to the Carrabelle Library. The work includes siding demolition, insulation, vapor retarders, fiber-cement trim, sheet-metal flashing and trim, joint sealants, painting, and related work described in the technical specifications. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on site. The successful bidder must provide a bid bond of at least 5% of the base bid, plus 100% performance and payment bonds. Substantial completion is required within 120 calendar days from the date of commencement, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
