Description
Leon County seeks qualified vendors to provide full-service inspection, preventive maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and replacement of manual and powered roll-up doors, grilles, shutters, vehicle barrier arm gates, gate operators, ticket dispensers, credential readers, keypads, control boards, vehicle detection devices, and related hardware, controls, and sensors. Roll-up doors and powered roll-up doors are the minimum required service category; bidders may also offer vehicle barrier gates and parking control equipment. The County may award by category and may use multiple vendors. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, personnel, and supervision. Work includes emergency, repair, and routine response services, with same-day response and four-hour on-site response for specified security-critical facilities. Parts must generally be new, commercial- or industrial-grade OEM or approved-equivalent products. Vendors must hold applicable Florida licenses, provide required certifications and insurance, and complete the County's electronic bid forms and certifications. The agreement provides for a one-year initial term with up to four additional one-year renewals.
