Description
The Florida Department of Transportation is soliciting proposals for comprehensive administration of its Logo Sign Program in Region 2. The contractor will perform marketing studies, recruit and retain participating businesses, process logo sign permits, conduct annual inventories and inspections, prepare renewals, and maintain program records across specified interstate, non-interstate limited-access facilities, and toll roads. The scope also includes engineering, fabrication, construction, installation, reconfiguration, repair, replacement, and removal of logo sign structures; development and maintenance of a real-time web-based program database; development and maintenance of a public-facing website; quarterly reporting; quality control; and litigation support. The contractor must maintain a staffed Florida office, provide an employee for renewal-cycle work in Tallahassee, and be prepared to assume responsibility no later than April 1, 2027. The initial contract term is April 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032, with possible renewal for up to three years. A $2,500,000 performance bond is required from the intended awardee, while a current surety letter documenting bonding capacity is required with the proposal.
