Description
The Florida Department of Commerce is soliciting a fixed-price contract for commercial custodial services at a five-story, approximately 150,000-square-foot building, of which approximately 91,000 square feet require cleaning. Required nightly services include waste and recycling removal, scheduled carpet vacuuming, dust mopping and wet mopping of hard-surface floors, restroom cleaning and disinfection, and related custodial maintenance. The contractor must furnish the required labor, supervision, transportation, tools, equipment, cleaning materials, and supplies, and one nightly employee must serve as the on-site supervisor. Optional day porter services include daily restroom and public-area cleaning, dispenser replenishment, elevator-cab cleaning, and outdoor waste and debris removal. The solicitation anticipates a 36-month contract beginning October 1, 2026, with an option to renew for up to three additional years. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit and submit pricing for both the required nightly services and optional day porter services. The bid package requires a signed solicitation acknowledgment, price page, three client references for similar work performed within the last three years, specified certifications and forms, a subcontractor list, and a written plan addressing environmental considerations and other state objectives.
