Description

The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino is soliciting a contractor to remove and dispose of existing rain gutters, downspouts, hangers, fasteners, and related components, then furnish and install approximately 1,950 linear feet of new seamless six-inch K-style aluminum gutters and downspouts. The work includes concealed hangers or approved fascia brackets, corrosion-resistant fasteners, leaf screens, water diverter pads where required, proper sloping and drainage, inspection of exposed fascia and substrates, permits, debris removal, and complete site cleanup. Materials must comply with the agency’s approved color palette and applicable codes and manufacturer requirements. The project is at an occupied senior affordable housing community, so the contractor must minimize noise, dust, disruption, and access impacts; provide resident notifications, barriers, scaffolding, fall protection, and a site-specific safety plan; and maintain safe access. California prevailing wages, Department of Industrial Relations registration, certified payroll reporting, apprenticeship requirements, and applicable federal and Section 3 requirements apply. The estimated contract duration is 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with a two-year manufacturer’s and contractor’s warranty. The estimated bid value is $29,750, and a five-percent bid guarantee is required.
