Description
The City of Tallahassee Electric and Gas Utility is conducting an RFI to identify software vendors and consultants capable of transforming Advanced Metering Infrastructure data into actionable customer insights and electric distribution grid analytics. Desired capabilities include customer and demand-side management analytics, load-shape visualization, individualized energy recommendations, demand-response evaluation, phase-balancing detection, real-time monitoring, distribution planning, congestion and overload analysis for feeders and transformers, solar backfeed analysis, forecasting, and grid-modernization planning. Responses should describe the proposed approach, implementation plan and timeline, staffing, data requirements, technical and algorithmic capabilities, utility-scale past performance, data privacy, integration with the Utility's existing systems, NERC reliability considerations, project workflow, and any proposed joint ventures. The response is limited to 20 pages: a one-page executive summary, up to 15 pages addressing capabilities and approach, and up to four pages of evaluative comments and advice. This is an RFI for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to purchase services.
