Description
The Florida Department of Financial Services, through its Division of Consumer Services, is conducting a Request for Information to assess the feasibility of establishing a vendor-maintained pool of qualified professional mediators. The mediators would augment the Department's approved mediators when demand exceeds available capacity, particularly after hurricanes and other natural disasters, and would handle eligible residential property, commercial residential property, automobile, and Continuing Care Retirement Communities insurance mediation cases. The Department is seeking information about the proposed service model, mediator-pool capacity, and per-case pricing. This is a fact-finding effort only: responses are not offers, no contract will be awarded from the RFI, and any future procurement would be conducted separately. Respondents should submit an introduction and cover letter, followed by the requested service, capacity, cost, and other relevant information. A redacted copy of the response should also be included if applicable.
