Description
Unified Fire Authority is seeking qualified experts to provide evidence-based and legally compliant pre-employment psychological evaluations for firefighter candidates. Required services include administering, scoring, and interpreting the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-3 and California Psychological Inventory; reviewing personal histories, background-investigation narratives, and medical records as appropriate; conducting clinical interviews; and integrating the information into a suitability determination using validated instruments and contemporary public-safety applicant norms. Evaluators must be certified and trained, and a written evaluation must be completed within 14 days of the assessment. Proposals must describe the offeror’s qualifications, public-safety experience, proposed personnel, comparable customers and references, service approach, training and ongoing support, legal-challenge experience, scheduling capacity for approximately 40–50 candidates annually, privacy and records-retention practices, and complete per-evaluation pricing. The proposal must include the buyer-provided Proposal Response Cover Sheet and IRS Form W-9. Electronic proposals must be submitted through the Bonfire secure mailbox; embedded documents in uploaded attachments are prohibited.
