Description
The County of Orange Social Services Agency is soliciting applications from licensed and experienced therapists to provide prevention and intervention counseling for children, non-minor dependents, parents, and caregivers who are at risk of or have a history of child abuse and/or neglect. Eligible providers must hold a current California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist; have at least two years of relevant counseling experience; and maintain or establish an office in Orange County, California. Services include individual, conjoint, and family counseling; intake assessments; social and family histories; assessment and treatment plans; case management; community-resource linkages; progress and termination reporting; court letters and testimony when authorized; and participation in Child and Family Team meetings or therapeutic monitored observations. Providers must offer culturally responsive, trauma-informed, evidence-informed services, accommodate diverse language needs, provide specified weekday, evening, and weekend availability, and primarily deliver services in person, with telehealth permitted only with prior authorization. Compensation is $150 per counseling hour for standard services, with separate rates for certain specialized services. The initial contract term is July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2030, with a possible two-year renewal; estimated funding is $2,520,000 total across all providers for the initial three-year term.
