Description
The County of San Mateo Human Services Agency, Center on Homelessness, is conducting an information-gathering effort regarding the possible addition of one family interim housing program within San Mateo County. The County is seeking information from organizations with experience or interest in procuring, leasing, acquiring, rehabilitating, developing, constructing, establishing, and/or operating a family interim housing facility. Respondents may propose interest in facility development, program operations, both roles, or a partnership model. Concepts of approximately 15 or more family units are of particular interest, although other operationally and financially viable scales may be considered. Potential future services are expected to include 24/7 site operations, safety and habitability management, Housing First and low-barrier access, housing-focused case management, service coordination, family-centered supports, referral coordination, data collection, performance reporting, and continuous quality improvement. This RFI is for market research and planning only; it will not result in an award or contract, and the County is not requesting a detailed service proposal. Respondents must provide the required Letter of Interest Form and information regarding organizational background, relevant experience, potential facility and partnership models, feasible scale, and needed County support.
