Description
The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground is conducting market research for annual calibration services covering eight mass property measurement instruments used for precision measurements of artillery and mortar ammunition. The requirement includes NIST-traceable calibration, testing against original factory specifications, one mandatory yearly preventive-maintenance visit, one emergency on-demand visit per covered instrument when requested by the Contracting Officer’s Representative, travel and labor, calibration standards, and qualifying non-consumable replacement parts under $500 MSRP. Work will be performed on site at Yuma Proving Ground buildings 3130 and 3482 in Yuma, Arizona. Interested parties must submit a tailored capabilities statement addressing relevant experience, technical skills, project and subcontractor management, small-business status, organizational resources, and the ability to self-perform at least 50% of the work if a small-business set-aside is used. The capabilities statement is limited to 10 pages and must use 10-point Times New Roman font. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research, not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
