Description
Imperial Irrigation District is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to construct the East Highline Reservoir Project. The scope includes a 2,100-acre-foot off-line storage reservoir, a 1.8-mile lined intake canal, a 1,000-foot outlet canal and emergency spillway, gated inlet and outlet structures, culverts, flowmeters, equipment buildings, generators, electrical and control systems, cathodic protection, fencing, monitoring wells, piezometers, instrumentation, and related site improvements. The work also includes mobilization, traffic control, clearing and grubbing, demolition, dewatering, deep dynamic compaction, stone columns, excavation and embankment construction, fiber-reinforced concrete lining, geomembrane and geotextile installation, riprap, aggregate base, testing, startup, commissioning, permits, dust control, stormwater pollution prevention, safety compliance, prevailing-wage compliance, and Buy America requirements for federally assisted infrastructure. The proposed contract term is approximately 21 months. Response Forms Part 1 will be evaluated for responsiveness, qualifications, methodology, experience, references, and safety; only qualified respondents' sealed cost proposals will be opened.
