Description
Imperial Irrigation District is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to construct a 2,100-acre-foot off-line storage reservoir and a 1.8-mile intake canal approximately five miles southwest of Holtville, California. The project includes a 1,000-foot outlet canal and emergency spillway, gated tie-in and inlet/outlet structures, and operational capability to fill and release the reservoir within 24-hour cycles. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, permits, submittals, certifications, documentation, and related services. Work includes earthwork, excavation and embankment construction, concrete and geomembrane lining, dewatering, compaction, culverts, flowmeters, electrical and control systems, instrumentation, fencing, monitoring wells, traffic and dust control, testing, startup, commissioning, safety compliance, prevailing-wage compliance, and Buy America requirements. Addendum 4 provides revised Design Drawings Version B, a vectorized plan set for bid preparation, corrects the geotextile requirement from 8-ounce to 3-ounce fabric, and confirms that the solicitation documents remain controlling.
