Description
The City of Santa Barbara is soliciting a contractor to perform CCTV inspections of approximately 125 private sewer laterals per year, generally 4 to 6 inches in diameter and located primarily on residential properties. Work extends from each building or residence cleanout to the connection at the City sewer main and includes labor, materials, equipment, mobilization, supervision, traffic control, permitting, public coordination, nondestructive cleaning when authorized, re-inspections, and digital inspection data delivery through the City's designated systems. The contractor must inspect assigned laterals within 20 calendar days of each monthly transfer meeting, submit inspection data within seven calendar days, provide required mapping and observation data, and comply with applicable California contractor licensing, prevailing-wage, DIR registration, insurance, safety, and spill-response requirements. The estimated value is $60,000 per year. The initial term is one year, with up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual consent, for a maximum five-year term.
