Description
The City of Santa Barbara is seeking a qualified contractor to install pavement markings and striping on recently repaved streets. The solicitation identifies applicable work categories including pavement marking, marking and stenciling, traffic sign installation or removal, traffic sign maintenance and repair, and traffic control services. The initial contract term is one year from award, with four additional one-year renewals by mutual consent, for a maximum term of five years. A payment bond and separate performance bond, each equal to 100% of the bid total, are required if the bid exceeds $25,000; these bonds are due within 10 calendar days after written notice of award. Bidders must meet the stated California public-works registration and contractor-license requirements.
