Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for installation and electrical connection of electric vehicle supply equipment infrastructure at its Santa Barbara Maintenance Station. The work includes wiring devices, associated components, required testing, ADA-accessible ports, and bollards where required. The project also includes saw cutting, trenching, backfilling, finishing, and restoration of affected lot surfaces to their original condition. A California C-10 electrical contractor license is required. The estimated project cost is $52,000, and the project term is 60 calendar days. Successful bidders must furnish payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100 percent of the contract price. Bidding is limited to California Department of General Services-certified Small Business and Micro Business contractors, and attendance at the mandatory virtual pre-bid site inspection is required for bid eligibility.
