Description
The Grosse Pointe Public School System is soliciting bids for boiler and temperature controls replacement at Parcells Middle School. The work includes removing existing boilers, a domestic water heater, water storage tank, piping, steam condensate return units, bucket traps, and related equipment; the existing pool boiler will be removed but not replaced. The project includes installing new boilers, a domestic water heater, water storage tank, piping, steam condensate return units, bucket traps, steam traps, pipe insulation, and a new temperature controls system with control valves, wiring, and control panels. Roof penetrations and associated flashings for new through-roof penetrations are also included. A five-percent bid bond, a sworn and notarized familial relationship disclosure statement, and a sworn and notarized Iran Economic Sanctions Act compliance affidavit are required with the bid.
