Description
The Sacramento Area Sewer District seeks one or more consultants to provide liability claim adjusting, backup-into-structure claim adjusting, and subrogation services. Respondents may propose for one, two, or all three service areas. Liability services include claims administration, claims-management information system support, investigations, reporting, litigation management, settlement administration, trust-account management, and 24-hour response for serious incidents. Backup-into-structure services include on-site investigation, responsibility determinations, remediation and rebuild oversight, legal-services administration, reporting, and settlement recommendations. Subrogation services include claim investigation, recovery efforts, communications with responsible parties and insurers, settlement negotiations, release review, payment processing, and small-claims support. The proposal must address the applicable scope of services and include organizational background, the consultant team, related public-agency experience, conflict-of-interest disclosures, applicable Iran Contracting Act and economic-sanctions forms, proprietary-information disclosures, insurance information, exceptions to the sample agreement, and a cost proposal. The proposal is limited to 20 single-sided pages, excluding specified items, and must be submitted as a PDF through the designated online procurement platform. The cost proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The solicitation permits selection of more than one consultant and provides for time-and-expenses, lump-sum, or subrogation-recovery-based compensation, depending on the service proposed.
