Description
Clark County is seeking a contractor to replace one or both existing boiler units, repair leaky copper piping in the boiler room, and replace two hot water circulation pumps at the Department of Job and Family Services Building C. The preferred replacement equipment is Weil-McLain or equal manufacturing quality, and all work must comply with current Ohio Mechanical Code and applicable state and local HVAC and boiler requirements. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, permits, inspections, testing, material handling, rigging, cleanup, training, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty documentation. The proposal must include pricing for each boiler replacement option, a project timeline, a quality and project control plan, safety and traffic-management measures, operational and emergency response times, at least three business references from similar work within the past two years, and descriptions or samples of up to three similar projects completed within the past five years. The contract requires a minimum one-year warranty on materials and labor and may be subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements, including weekly certified payroll reporting and related compliance obligations.
