Description
The City of Piqua is soliciting a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals required to construct complete cast-in-place reinforced-concrete drilled pier foundations for transmission line structures. The work includes mobilization and site preparation, surveying and layout, drilling and stabilization of pier excavations, reinforcing steel cages, anchor bolt assemblies and embedments, concrete placement and curing, spoil and slurry disposal, and related testing and documentation. The project specifications require compliance with applicable concrete, reinforcing steel, drilled-pier, electrical, safety, and local standards, as well as submission of mix designs, shop drawings, work plans, product data, installation records, and certifications. The engineer's estimate is $280,000. State of Ohio prevailing wages apply. A 10% bid guaranty is required, either as a bid bond or an accepted certified/cashier's check or letter of credit; a 100% performance-payment bond is required after award when the bid guaranty is not already a contract bond. The bidder must use the provided forms and submit the required qualifications, affidavits, equipment data, subcontractor information, and addenda acknowledgment.
