Description
The U.S. Air Force requires one 7-foot-by-3-foot STC 50-rated acoustic door assembly, including a compatible frame, acoustic seals, automatic drop seal, threshold, heavy-duty door closer, LKM 10K Series pedestrian exit device, and Kaba Mas X-10 electromechanical combination lock. The contractor must remove and dispose of the existing door, frame, threshold, and hardware; install and acoustically seal the new assembly; restore surrounding wall surfaces; and provide manufacturer documentation certifying laboratory testing to STC 50. The work also includes installation and configuration of a smart card reader compatible with PIV and CAC credentials and integration with the existing DNA Fusion by Open Options physical access control system. The contractor must install and integrate a high-security balanced magnetic switch with the existing Diebold alarm monitoring system, provide wiring and power transfer, conduct operational and acoustic-flanking tests, and support final acceptance. Work must comply with ICD 705, related SCIF standards, and applicable installation fire and life-safety codes. Uncleared personnel may perform the work only under constant visual observation by a cleared escort. A standard one-year warranty is required, and delivery and installation must be completed within 90 days after contract approval or receipt of order, as applicable in the solicitation.
