Description
The United States Air Force intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to MTS Systems Corporation for the MTS Assured Maintenance Plan (AMP). The requirement covers maintenance, support, and repair of proprietary MTS hardware and software configurations used by the Air Force Institute of Technology. The AMP must be 100% compatible with the proprietary equipment and satisfy all requirements in the Performance Work Statement. The notice states that MTS Systems Corporation is the only responsible source because the equipment and configurations are proprietary. A capability statement must provide clear and convincing evidence of the vendor’s ability to perform the AMP requirement; a simple statement is insufficient. The acquisition requires a current CMMC Level 1 or higher self-assessment recorded in SPRS at the time of award, with no waivers, grace periods, or POA&Ms permitted. Respondents must also identify the country of origin for offered end products and qualifying components, and domestic or qualifying/designated-country products are required unless an authorized exception applies.
