Description
The Town of Cary is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for a replacement Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system supporting Cary 9-1-1 and regional first responder partners in Cary, Morrisville, and Apex. The solution must support 9-1-1 call processing, unified multi-agency dispatch, mobile CAD, CAD-to-CAD interoperability, AVL integration, mapping, reporting and analytics, high availability, secure remote access, and integrations with specified public safety, records-management, telephony, radio, GIS, paging, and emergency-response systems. The selected vendor will provide project management, design and configuration, on-site implementation in Cary, training, data and interface work, and ongoing support and maintenance. The contract has an initial five-year term with up to two additional one-year extensions. Vendors must demonstrate a fully operational solution deployed at comparable public safety agencies and submit five qualifying references with case studies, financial qualifications, technical and functional compliance responses, and a fixed-price cost proposal. The submission deadline was extended by Addendum No. 2 to October 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
