The City of Raleigh, North Carolina, through its Raleigh Water department, is soliciting sealed bids for the Raleigh Water Program Management for Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement Sites Package 1. The project involves seven sites requiring various combinations of pier replacement, pipe removal and replacement, and bank stabilization. Specific sites include 641 S. New Hope Rd. (pier removal and replacement), 1027 N. West St. (pier and pipe removal with replacement), 96 Bluff St. (pipe and pier removal with new pipe rerouted), 1305 Shelley Rd. and 100 Orchard Peach Rd. (bank stabilization), 2909 Fairview Rd. (pier and pipe removal with replacement), and 307 S. Arendel Ave. (pier replacement). All sites will involve some bank stabilization except Arendel Ave. The project also includes associated construction activities as detailed in the bidding documents.
