Federal Prison Industries, within the U.S. Department of Justice, intends to award competitively negotiated multiple-award Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contracts for professional architectural, engineering, and related technical services. Work will support new facility construction, additions, renovations, modernization, alterations, and repairs at FPI facilities in the contiguous United States. Potential task-order services include reviewing and preparing design and construction documents, cost estimating, value engineering, project and construction scheduling, dispute and claims assistance, technical specifications, design development, construction administration, project closeout, master planning, regulatory compliance evaluations, and design-build documentation. The contracts will have a one-year base period with four additional one-year option periods. Award consideration will be based on proposed hourly rates, overhead, and profit determined to be fair and reasonable; award may be made without discussions.
