Description
The County of Orange, through OC Public Works and on behalf of the County and Orange County Flood Control District, seeks to pre-qualify firms for an as-needed Qualified Vendor List for architectural-engineering design, project administration, and management services. Work may support maintenance and capital improvement projects and may be issued through negotiated Contract Task Orders; placement on the list or award of a contract does not guarantee any minimum amount or volume of work. Potential services include feasibility and planning, building assessments, architectural and multidisciplinary engineering design, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, code and regulatory coordination, project scheduling, construction administration, inspection, testing and commissioning, closeout documentation, and asset indexing. Typical architectural assignments may include space planning, interior and exterior alterations, park and library improvements, restroom and roof work, accessibility improvements, building systems assessments, and demolition or record drawings. Respondents must meet stated California licensing, experience, Southern California comparable-project, and reference requirements. The resulting contracts may have a maximum term of three years, with future work assigned through task orders.
