Description
The Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area, also known as Metroparks Toledo, is seeking a qualified architecture and engineering consultant through a Letter of Interest process. The selected consultant will support renovation planning for three potential visitor center locations, including building evaluation and condition assessment, utility and code reviews, schematic design options, design development, construction documents, cost estimates, and engineering services. The anticipated concept includes preserving existing building character while improving utilities, HVAC, windows, doors, interior layouts, finishes, and related facilities for food and beverage and retail uses. The scope also includes project definition and stakeholder coordination; schematic, design development, and construction document phases; bidding support; responses to requests for information; construction administration and site observations; review of submittals and change orders; payment certification support; as-built documentation; warranty-period review; and related professional services. The approximate construction budget is $1,000,000. Responses must be a signed Letter of Interest submitted as one digital PDF through the Metroparks Toledo PlanetBids portal, limited to 15 pages excluding a cover page or cover letter, with specified font, margin, paper-size, and page-numbering requirements. The Letter of Interest must address firm qualifications, relevant projects, references, office location, regulatory familiarity, workload, project understanding, schedule, staffing, and subconsultants.
