Description
The Corona-Norco Unified School District is soliciting bids for demolition and disposal at Norco High School. The work includes removing the existing metal shade/weight room structure, footings, concrete slab, adjacent sidewalk and asphalt, chain-link fencing and gates, electrical fixtures and conduit, gym and weight-lifting equipment, furnishings, low retaining walls, and related debris. The contractor must provide temporary fencing, portable toilets and wash stations, dust control, required shoring, utility coordination, and protection of irrigation infrastructure. The site must be left clean, free of debris and hazards, backfilled with clean fill, fine graded, and compacted to at least 90 percent. Work is to occur after school hours on weekdays and on weekends in accordance with local ordinances. The project requires a California C-21 Building Moving/Demolition Contractor license, DIR registration, prevailing-wage compliance, at least 15 percent self-performance, and a 10 percent bid bond. The anticipated notice-to-proceed date is October 7, 2026, with completion required within 30 calendar days.
