Description

The Village of Orland Park is seeking a contractor for the complete demolition, removal, and lawful disposal of structures and site improvements at 17101 and 17171 Wolf Road. The scope includes removal of buildings, basements, foundations, slabs, paving, curbs, fences, gates, manholes, catch basins, concrete pads and stoops, brush, small trees, and bus charging stations at 17101 Wolf Road. The contractor must obtain required demolition permits, prepare Cook County demolition debris diversion plans, comply with erosion and sediment controls, and manage asbestos- and lead-related conditions identified in the survey reports. The work also includes excavation, imported fill and compaction, placement of at least six inches of topsoil, grading, seeding, mulching, turf establishment and maintenance, debris disposal documentation, and final site cleanup. The contractor must directly perform at least 25% of the services, participate in applicable registered apprenticeship programs, and provide required insurance, a 10% bid bond, and performance and payment bonds equal to the contract price when the bid exceeds $100,000. Work must be completed by December 1, 2026.
