The Iowa Department of Administrative Services, on behalf of the Iowa Veterans Home, is soliciting bids for ongoing respiratory and sleep therapy equipment rentals, medical-grade liquid oxygen, related supplies, and maintenance services. Required equipment includes portable oxygen tanks with strollers, liquid oxygen reservoirs, oxygen concentrators, BiPAP and CPAP systems, and portable electronically controlled ventilators. Bidders must provide pricing for rentals, liquid oxygen refills, rent-to-own options where applicable, catalog products and services, and other fees. The scope includes equipment setup, staff training and education, preventative maintenance, cleaning, repairs, replacement equipment during repairs, 24-hour on-call service, delivery and filling of liquid oxygen reservoirs, third-party payer billing, and access to certified respiratory therapists. The contractor must provide required licenses and certifications, calibrated-scale verification, compliance information, and resumes for key personnel. The initial contract term is one year with up to five annual extensions.
