Description
Lake County is soliciting sealed competitive bids for an indefinite-quantity contract to provide rental equipment on an as-needed basis. The requested equipment includes skid steers and attachments, loaders, excavators, graders, bulldozers, water trucks, bucket trucks, rollers, chippers, stump grinders, mowers, paving equipment, road wideners, sweepers, light towers, air compressors, message boards, generators, and related equipment. Vendors must respond for all equipment listed on the pricing sheet and provide manufacturer, model, equipment location, daily, weekly, and monthly rental rates, along with delivery and pickup pricing. Equipment must be in safe operating condition, meet OSHA requirements, include required manufacturer safety devices, and be maintained or replaced when deficient. The County may collect and return equipment from the vendor or request delivery and pickup for an additional fee. The contract has an initial one-year term with two optional two-year renewals, but no minimum or maximum expenditure is guaranteed. Required submission materials include the County submission form, law-compliance affidavit, Excel pricing sheet, references form, W-9, Sunbiz registration proof, applicable addenda, and proof of insurance or insurability.
