Description
The City of Lancaster seeks an experienced third-party provider to administer Family and Medical Leave Act benefits and support Americans with Disabilities Act and Pregnant Workers Fairness Act accommodation requests. Services include managing required leave notices and medical certifications, monitoring legal deadlines, determining leave eligibility, responding to employee and management inquiries, handling recertifications, and providing recommendations regarding leave and accommodation matters. The contractor must provide absence tracking and return-to-work reporting, at least monthly reporting and meetings, and a customizable secure web-based dashboard for Human Resources staff to access leave information and exchange documents. The provider will also support the interactive accommodation process, investigate requests, administer leave in accordance with City policies and collective bargaining agreements, and provide third-party medical review services when authorized. Proposals must describe the firm's experience, qualifications, key personnel, implementation approach, software functionality and security, customer support, schedule, and pricing model. The City intends to award a one-year contract with annual renewal options.
